A good percentage of the population of school-age children in Sierra Leone do not have access to a reliable power supply or the absence of it altogether, undermining their ability to study in the evening and negatively affecting their school performance. Most of them rely on dangerous kerosene-based lighting to read / study/ complete homework at night.  

To help address this issue, Develop Africa is providing long-lasting solar lights.
